Every season she transforms her home into something magical, and somehow each year tops the last.
But beyond her beautiful home, Marie is the kind of person you'd love to have as a neighbor. She's always willing to lend a helping hand and share ideas that inspire people to create homes they love. Her creativity is matched only by her generosity, which makes her such a special part of the Decor Steals community.
We recently caught up with Marie to learn more about her decorating journey, favorite Decor Steals finds, and what inspires her style.
How did you become a home decor influencer?
My love for home décor began when I purchased my first home in 2018. As a first-time homeowner, I had all the excitement and jitters that come with creating a space that truly felt like home. I wanted every room to be warm, cozy, and inviting. Around that time, I discovered Rae Dunn, and collecting those pieces sparked my passion for decorating. What started with seasonal and holiday décor quickly grew into a love for home styling year-round, and that’s how my journey as a home décor influencer began.
How did you discover Decor Steals?
I discovered Decor Steals while searching for affordable home decor online. After finishing graduate school, I was excited to finally invest in my home, but I still wanted to be mindful of my budget. I was looking for stylish pieces that would help elevate my space without breaking the bank and that’s when I found Decor Steals. It quickly became one of my favorite places to find beautiful decor at budget-friendly prices. Shortly after purchasing my home I had my daughter and wanted to create a home that felt beautiful and inviting while still being kid-friendly.
What was your first “steal”?
2022!! I purchased my first oversized arch floor window mirror that I still have in my home (see below).

What are your favorite Decor Steals products?
Any and all Halloween…definitely Halloween! Does all the above count?! Haha!! Some of my favorite Decor Steals pieces are ones I don’t even have in my home because I couldn’t snag them fast enough, lol. There was a beautiful 8-drawer black wooden console... and the Distressed Farmhouse Hutch Cabinet was another favorite. You guys know how I feel about beautiful cabinets for my pottery collection.
What steal are you loving right now?
That’s such a hard question because every room in my home has something from Decor Steals! If I had to choose, my current favorites are the Cubbie Wood Cabinet, HUGE Distressed Wooden Hanging Window Frames, and the Chippy Wood Desk. I use all three every single day, so they’re not only beautiful statement pieces but also incredibly functional. I love décor that serves a purpose while adding character to a space, and these pieces do exactly that.

Their products don’t look or feel “cheap,” which makes it hard to tell the difference between a Decor Steals find and a much more expensive piece. I’ve found so much decorating inspiration, but I’ve also found a community that shares ideas, supports one another, and understands that creating a beautiful home doesn’t have to cost a fortune. It’s a reminder that every home has a unique story and the way we decorate allows us to share a little piece of who we are.
