What you’ll need:
- A semi-transparent cutting board (dollar store score!)
- Halloween silhouettes (ghosts, bats, black cats, witches… you name it)
- Scissors
- Tape
- Sharpie or black paint + paintbrush
- A lantern! We used the large solar outdoor lanterns.
How to create the magic:
- Print your favorite spooky silhouettes (Canva is perfect for this).
- Trace your lantern’s shape onto the cutting board and cut it out.
- Tape your design in place so nothing shifts.
- Trace or paint your silhouette. Sharpie = quick, paint = bold and crisp. Make three panels and leave one open in the back.
- Pop the panels into your lantern and let the spooky glow shine!
