With the handle raised, it stands approximately 15 inches tall—just enough to make a statement without taking over the room. The liner helps keep things tidy, and that darling matching trowel slips right inside when not in use.

This beauty is for decorative use and cool, dry storage ONLY. Do not—and we mean DO NOT—place live coals, hot embers, hot ashes, or live fire inside it. The exterior contains wood and could catch fire, causing damage or serious injury. Everything must be completely cold before it goes anywhere near this scuttle. Cozy is the goal. A flaming scuttle is most definitely NOT.
We have seen similar hearth scuttles priced WAY higher, and once fireplace season hits, pieces this charming tend to disappear faster than the good blanket on movie night.
