Old-World Marble-Base Metal Stars, Set of 3
String lights get the credit, but it's a piece like this trio of stars that actually finishes a mantel.
Each star sits on its own marble base in a graduated size — 18.5", 20.5", and 22.5" tall — so they cluster naturally without any styling effort on your part. The aged metal finish reads more found-object than factory-new, and the marble bases keep them from looking like an afterthought propped against the wall. Rubber feet on each base protect surfaces, so they work equally well on a wood mantel, a stone hearth, or a glass console table. They're versatile enough to stay out past the holidays too — a nativity backdrop in December, a standalone accent the rest of the year.
A nearly identical set sells for $59 elsewhere. Ours is $39.99 for all three.
