Mercantile Wood Locking Stationery Box
We have a thing for old general-store charm.
Every so often we find a piece that makes us want to sort our mail just so we have an excuse to use it. This one did exactly that. Crafted from paulownia wood and MDF with a warm, paper-finished veneer, it opens with a locking door to reveal a roomy interior drawer built for stashing letters, bills, and the odds and ends that pile up on every counter.
Pieces like this usually carry a boutique price tag once a real lock and real wood get involved. We tracked one down and made sure the price stayed friendly.
At $99.99, this is the kind of steal we live for — grab it before the drawer empties out for good.
