Solid iron, not stamped tin
We went looking for a horse plaque that actually felt substantial, and most of what we found was thin, flimsy metal. This one is solid cast iron — pick it up and you'll know. The running horse is raised in profile and caught mid-stride, so it plays with light and shadow instead of sitting flat on the wall.
Where it shines
The long, horizontal shape (13.7" wide by 10" tall) works on its own above a doorway or grouped into a gallery wall. It's right at home in a ranch house, cabin, mudroom, tack room, or any space that leans western.
Cast iron horse plaques like this usually list for a bit more, and we priced this one at $32.99. Mounting screws aren't included, so grab a couple from the toolbox.
