We went looking for deer with real heft, and this forged-iron pair delivered.

They're built to stand tall: the larger deer rises to 25.5 inches and the smaller to 15.5, so together they read like a little woodland scene instead of two matching knickknacks. Set one on each side of the hearth, tuck them beneath the tree, or let them hold court on an entry console long after the holidays wrap up.

Most deer decor at this size is hollow resin dressed up to look like metal. These are the real thing, forged and made in India, with an iron texture that catches the light a little differently on every curve. That's exactly why we grabbed them, and why we think they'll stay out well past December.
