General Store String and Shears Set
Hold on — when's the last time a kitchen tool made you stop and stare?
This cast iron string and shears set is the kind of piece that sits on your counter looking like it belongs in a 19th-century general store, while being quietly, genuinely useful. The cast iron stand holds a spool of jute twine alongside a pair of metal shears — ready for wrapping packages, tying herbs, bundling dried flowers, or whatever practical task needs doing.
A Vintage Reproduction Done Right
The design is intentionally old-fashioned, and that's exactly the point. The weight of cast iron, the texture of jute, the satisfying heft of the shears — everything about this piece communicates quality and permanence. It's a working tool dressed up as a farmhouse heirloom.
Works Anywhere
Kitchen counter, craft room shelf, garden potting bench, gift wrapping station — this goes wherever string gets used. It's the kind of functional accent that earns its counter space every day.
