Challenge accepted: a weatherproof statue that actually looks carved.
Garden sculptures usually come in two flavors: cheap plastic that fades in a season, or designer cast pieces that cost well over a hundred dollars. We went looking for the middle ground and found it. This sitting deer is cast from a durable, stone-like material that shrugs off rain, sun, and frost, holding its carved detail season after season, indoors or out.
At 17.25 inches tall, it reads as a real sculptural piece, not a tabletop trinket, with the kind of weight and finish you would expect to pay a lot more for. We priced it at $64.99. Set it by the front door, tuck it into a garden bed, or let it anchor a console table. Either way, we would not sleep on this one.
Please note: bow not included.
