1. Pinkmas House
A sweet and whimsical take on the traditional Christmas house, this pastel Pinkmas style adds a touch of glam and fun to your holiday décor.
Supplies:
- Decorative house (I used these!)
- Paint (pink, white, green)
- Paint brushes
- Pipe cleaners
- Mini string of lights
- Red ribbon
- Hot glue gun
- Craft glue
- Fake snow or plastic glitter
Directions:
- Paint the base: Paint the roof green and the house pink. Add white accents to the window frames and let everything dry completely.
- Add the lights: Twist your mini string lights around pipe cleaners, then hot glue them to the house in a festive swoop pattern.
- Create a mini wreath: Twist a small piece of pipe cleaner into a circle, tie a red ribbon bow, and glue it to the front door, above a window or on the center of the front wall.
-
Add snow and sparkle: Brush craft glue on the roof edges or window ledges where you’d like snow to appear, then sprinkle fake snow or glitter for a frosty finish.
Tips:
- Use metallic or pearlized paint for a more glamorous look.
- Add bottle brush trees or tiny figurines around the house for a complete winter wonderland scene.

2. Gingerbread Church
This cozy and classic design is inspired by everyone’s favorite holiday treat! The Gingerbread Church captures the sweetness of the season…without the sticky mess.
Supplies:
- Decorative church or house (I used these!)
- Brown spray paint (I used the color Nutmeg)
- White puffy paint
Directions:
- Paint the base: Spray paint the church brown and let it dry completely.
- Add icing details: Use white puffy paint to create icing-inspired designs along the roof, windows, and doors. Think scallops, dots, and snowflakes (just like decorating a real gingerbread house)!
Tips:
- Look up “gingerbread house designs” on Pinterest or Google for inspiration.
- Add faux gumdrops, candy canes, or pom-poms for extra sweetness.
- If you’re displaying multiple houses, mix in some real cookie-scented candles for a cozy, bakery-like atmosphere.

3. Delft Blue House
Elegant and timeless, the Delft Blue House brings a refined European charm to your Christmas village…and fits in nicely if you’re styling with blue and white decor this holiday season. Inspired by classic Dutch pottery, this project is perfect for those who love a more traditional yet artistic look.
Supplies:
- Decorative house (I used these!)
- Paint (white and blue)
- Paint brushes
- Mini wreath
Directions:
- Paint the base: Start by painting the entire house (except for the roof) white and let it dry.
- Add blue accents: Paint the roof blue. For depth, mix a lighter shade of blue (white + blue) as a base, then add darker blue along the edges of the shingles to create texture.
- Detail work: Add delicate blue embellishments around windows, doors, or along the roofline for that signature Delft-style charm.
- Finish with a wreath: Glue a small wreath on the top of the house for a festive finishing touch.
Tips:
- Use a fine brush for the detailed blue patterns.
- Mix in metallic gold accents for a regal touch.
- Group several Delft-style houses together for a cohesive winter village display.
