When can I purchase a Steal It Box?
We launch a new box every season. We always sell our boxes a season in advance (for instance the Fall box is available for purchase starting in Summer). The best way to stay informed on upcoming Steal It Boxes is to sign up for our email and SMS text message alerts.

Is the Steal It Box a subscription box?
No—It is a no-commitment, hassle-free quarterly box. Buy a single box, or come back each season and buy them all! We do not offer a subscription option at this time.

Can I choose what is in my box?
Each season’s box is carefully curated in advance and there are no variations among boxes. All boxes each season include the same items. If you buy more than one, you will receive identical boxes. We do not currently offer customizations.

I have heard of Steal It Box and Surprise Box. Are they the same thing?
Steal It Box and Surprise Box are two totally separate concepts, but both are boxes that contain multiple items that are worth so much more than their purchase price! Please see the table below for the differences at a glance:

We offer some sneak peeks and you may be able to preview some or all of the items inside the Steal It Box before it arrives (beware of spoiler alerts if you want to be surprised!) Surprise Boxes are just that—totally a surprise! You will not have any idea what you will receive until it arrives at your door (and we ask that you please don’t spoil the surprise for anyone else!)

I already purchased my Steal It Box, when is it shipping?
Steal It Boxes do not ship as quickly as our traditional steals as they require some extra love and care, but they are worth the wait! Steal It Boxes will be shipped in the order they are placed. That's right, the sooner you place your order, the sooner you will receive it. We process and ship boxes in batches, so a day or two difference in when you buy it could mean a week or more difference in when you will receive it! You can find your specific shipping timeframe on the checkout page, in your Account next to the order status, and in your order confirmation email. You will receive a shipping confirmation email that will include your tracking information once your box leaves our warehouse!

My box and/or items arrived damaged. What should I do?
We are SO sorry to hear you received a damaged or incomplete box! Our teams do their very best to pack your items with care, but sometimes there is a human error on our side or a particularly bumpy ride with our delivery partners. If your order is incomplete or arrives in poor condition, please let us know ASAP to be eligible for a refund or replacement. You simply need to contact us within 30 days of the shipping date and include photos of both the item and the packaging it came in (be sure to save your box)! This helps us understand what went wrong so we can prevent similar issues for you and other customers in the future.

We accept returns unless otherwise stated in the item description. Returns are only accepted within 30 days of the date the item was sent out to you, as long as the item is unused, accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, and returned in its original packaging. Make sure to hang on to your box until you are sure you LOVE your steal!
* Please note no returns are accepted for the Steal it Box. Since these items are carefully chosen and the boxes are priced way below retail, we are unable to do returns or substitutes for anything in your box. If you don’t like a particular item, we always recommend gifting to a friend, family member, or donating the item(s)! Add-on item returns will be excepted and treated the same as a Décor Steals return (unless otherwise noted).
You have two options for the return shipping:
1) You can either arrange and pay for the return shipping on your own
2) Or, you can request a prepaid return label from us and we will simply deduct the shipping fee from the amount to be refunded
Either way, the return shipping cost is your responsibility. Please keep in mind that the shipping cost for us to get the item to you typically exceeds $5, however we only charge you the small flat fee and cover the rest out of our pocket. The return shipping amount will likely be greater than $5 and will depend on the size/weight of the item, and where you are shipping it from. We prefer to do it this way rather than to increase the price of all items to cover the occasional return shipping costs for some—we hope you understand!
Once we receive your return, we will initiate the refund to your original form of payment. Certain merchandise, such as gift cards and final sale items, are not eligible for return. Unfortunately, any items claimed more than 30 days from the ship date are not eligible for a refund; please make sure you open up your boxes right away! We understand that sometimes you buy something and then for one reason or another it isn’t going to work out for you. Since we can only accept returns within 30 days, we came up with another solution for our customers! We have a Decor Steals Facebook page of course, but we also have Decor Steals Facebook groups, one of which is specifically for buying and selling Decor Steals items between fellow Stealers — Decor Steals Sell & Trade! You can post any items you purchased from us there, and hopefully your piece will be another person’s treasure. Similarly, if there is something you are searching for (a steal you missed or something you need additional quantities of) you can reach out to that community as well. We are not affiliated with or responsible for the transaction though, so you will need to work with the buyer or seller directly to arrange payment, shipping and so forth. We have seen thousands of happy exchanges take place through this group — best of luck!

We want to get you your steals as soon as humanly possible, so we begin to process your order the second it is placed! Unfortunately we are unable to cancel orders at this time so please review your order very carefully before placing it.

If your order has arrived damaged (or you receive the wrong item) be sure to notify us within 30 days of the original ship date in order to be eligible for a refund. Please include photos of both the item and the packaging it came in — these are required for our team to be able to assist you. Our system ships orders to the address you provide on the order form. Please be sure to proofread all details prior to checking out. We are unable to update/change your shipping address after "Checkout". If you entered an incorrect address but your item is "returned to sender" you will receive a full refund for your item, minus your original $5 shipping fee. If your item is delivered to the wrong address, we are unfortunately unable to refund the item. Please double check your information prior to submitting your order to ensure the address is correct and complete!

Your item is processed upon placing your order! Most items ship within just 3 business days but there are specialty items that will take up to 15 business days to ship. We always include the shipping times in the product description so you will know when exactly to expect a product to be delivered before you order it. A refund relating to a non-return should process between 1-3 days depending on your credit card provider. A refund related to a returned product will be processed 1-3 days after the item is delivered to the returned destination and then credit card provider processing time will apply.
