Oh man! We Couldn't wait for today's steal! Not only did we sell out in no time when we offered it last, but we continue to get requests to bring it back! Remember when these beauties were featured in Flea Market Decor Magazine !? We JUST love how the editor described it as "Time Worn"! How cool is that?
This REAL VINTAGE FOUND olive bucket is one of the MOST requested steals (especially since this found item made it to the catalog of one of the biggest home companies for $169)
Olive buckets have become VERY popular recently and they are becoming harder and harder to find... This said, if you want (always wanted) one, today is your lucky day :)
Let the fun begin…And don't forget to use #desolivebucket to show us how you are using your olive bucket and see some amazing inspirations! :)
Today's FOUND treasures were once used during olive harvests for picking and washing. They come to us from the farms of Turkey. This is a once in a lifetime chance to get your hands on these beautiful and hard to find pieces!
This sturdy basket could show wear, discoloring, rust, scratches, age, dents, timeworn marks, dust! All due to usage and old age… Please click on the arrows in the main photos box above to see close ups and more shots…
They are great tools in your kitchen, bathroom, office… Use them to store: Produce, bathroom supplies, office supplies and craft supplies, toys, magazines, etc… Line a few up under a kitchen table and fill with produce, place three or so in your foyer for organized storage or simply use them as planters or pots. Hmmm, maybe a light fixture?! We are TOTALLY in love with these functional beauties!
Check out the beautiful way our friend,Tammy, @tammydamore used her olive buckets in photos #2 & left side of #6!! And how @marycasachic (photo #3 & right side of photo #4) @salvagesista (left side of photo#4) @savvysouthernstyle (middle of photo #4) @On Sutton Place (photo #5) @thismakesthat (right side of photo #6) incorporated their olive buckets :)
P.S: If your bucket has some rust and you want to place white linens, towels, etc inside it... You can use a clear plastic liner, burlap sheet or even spray the inside with a clear Polyurethane coat. Thank you to all of our AMAZING FB fans who inspired us with these great ideas :)
